After graduating high school, I took the time to explore my passions and determine my path. I reflected on my hobbies and talents, such as my lifelong upbringing in drama, watching films and TV, drawing, performing in drumline, music, and playing split-screen games with my brothers.
The common thread I found in all these activities was the powerful storytelling they could embody. I realized I connected with what was provocative, inspired imagination and emotion, and caused something to change within people—even if just for a moment.
After deliberating on which form of storytelling I wanted to work in, I realized that film and television would be the best mediums to create my narratives. Not because they’re the best forms of art, but because they combine all the elements I love into one.
I graduated with a major in Film Production from the University of California, Irvine. During my academic journey, I honed essential skills in various aspects of storytelling and collaborated with filmmakers from USC, Chapman, the American Film Institute, and other campuses/independent projects in both acting and film production.
I’ve created a diverse portfolio of films, establishing a network of fellow filmmakers and fostering strong connections within these creative communities. I’ve even worked with people outside the film arena who were interested in it, using their talents to make my films even greater.
I’m always eager for the next project, to improve and grow as a director and performer.
